Sahne:

10.04.2009 22:40 o´clock:

After we had to change the busses in Afula very quickly it was a real pleasure to arrive here in the Sahne. We met a lot of people we already knew from last year (May, Neta, Guy, Guy no.2, Rosie, Joshie and many others).
An especialy for us reserved campingspace beside a tree we had too. After setting up our tent we decided to go for a little Hello-trip around the gym.
Then we juggled for a little while and then we took part in the streetperformance-workshop which was held by Mike.
Before the Avi-Rosenberg-Contest started we were cooking sweetpotatos with sweetcorn and baked beans. After dinner we cleand the dishes and then the contest started.
Amongst some other paticipating artist there was Mathias performing and he came out second after the audience decision, which means, that again a german juggler is on the winners photograph.
Now I´m realy tired and I will go sleeping.

11.04.2009 14:15 o´clock:

Ahhh. at least... Iced Coffee.
Here beside the restaurant tent with Nir, Jan and Erik it is really relaxing.
After a good breakfast (whos idea was it to just buy Nutella for spread on bread?) and a cool shower we went for a bit of practicing in the gym.
Then I taught Joshie, Rosie, Ezra and another boy one of the Gandini-Mini-Pop tricks.
After this, we went to see the Free-Circle-Show and now it´s Ice-Coffee-Time....

18:30 o´clock:

After taking a nice little nap, Nir, Erik and I went to the pools for swimming. Jan gave his Contact-Juggling-workshop, which turned out to be very popular.
Next I strolled around the gym and to the trampolin-workshop, given by "Le Bo Trio", to take some pictures.
Having fixed our tent for the event of rain (the weather looked a bit rainy), we are sitting with Nir in the Special-Show, in which also Matthias again performes...I´m very excited about his act...

12.04.2009 15:30 o´clock:

The show has been great. In the first part, Ron Beri and his partner performed. Their act was mostly about juggling groceries and furniture as well as porcelain. This was very funny and creative.
In the second part Matthias performed his show. Because the german poem "The panter" written by Rainer Maria Rilke was part of this show, he had translated it into hebrew (or let someone translate) and read it out to the audience. This was very nice and the audience liked it very much. The different parts of his show were very diversified and interessting. Especialy the part with the puppet was very popular I think.
After the show Jan, Erik, Oren, Nir and I went together to the fire show, where we cooked our dinner.
Pasta with tomato-vegetable-sauce, pitabread with tchini and with rice stuffed wineleaves were on for dinner.
In the meantimt Joshie, Rosie and Toby performed on stage of the fire show passing torches.
At the end of the show all artists went on stage and in the backround somebody was sideslipping a firebag with steelwhoole. The flying of the sparks was amazing and formed a really great picture.
Later on in the gym we played a funny, "made-up" game with the boys from Haifa.
While drinking a cup of Cay Jogevs (the boy from Chicago) mum told us lot of stories about her family and her life. That was very interesting.

23:30 o´clock:

I wasn´t able to finish writing, because Oren, Nir and Nimrod took me to the pool for a nice little swim.
Yesterday I stayed up in the gym until 3 in the morning. After a late breakfast this day turned out to be realy relaxing.
Swimming, a little bit of backcross practice and tonight the Isreali-Show. This one was really good, but a little bit to long and the moderation was a bit boring.
After the show we wanted to cook, but as the games started 15 min. later, we decided on having a nice, readycooked dinner from the restaurant tent. It tasted delicious: rice, lentils, potatos with vegetables, asian vegetables and salad and for desert I treatd myself with cay and one of the orange-chocolate-balls.
The games were held - in memory of the war in Gaza - in form of combat. That meant there was balls-combat, club-combat, unicycle-combat, balancing-team-combat a. s. o.
.. it symboliced war-against-war.
Amongst some others Ori Roth won some of the endurance games.
Now "Le Bo Trio" is setting up their trampolin and practicing for their show tomorrow. I´m a bit tired, but I think I will go and pass a bit with someone...

13.04.2009 14:30 o´clock:

Good breakfast, thanks to Erik, who managed to get through the guarded gate into the kibbuz-supermarket to buy some fresh fruit and jam.
Yesterday I went right away to bed and today I´m still a bit sleepy. Perhapes the show of "Le Bo Trio" will wake me up.
It will start at 16:30 o´clock. I think I go for another iced coffee and try to find someone for passing clubs.

14.04.2009 11:30 o´clock:

The show of "Le Bo Trio" was realy amazing and I´ve taken a really great picture I´m so proud of.
After the show were cooking rice with tomatosauce together with Jogev, Nir, Agam and Ofek. We also had some matza with tchina.
Then it was time to to to the big gala-show.
On the way to the show Rosie, Nir, Joshie and Ezra played the "next-destination-game" with us. But I cracked the answer only after the show. Jan still has no clue about it....
There was a little renagade going on in the gym after the show. But at about 2:30 o´clock in the morning I was so tired, that I decided to say goodby to Nir and to go to bed.
This morning, after a small breakfast and another cool shower we packed everything and strolled around to say goodby.
At the busstop outside the park I tried to stop a car whithout success, but the bus came very quickly and now we ar on our way to Jogevs family to Haifa...

on the cause of the actual events in Isreal:

In the night to sunday, 02.08.2009 at 22:40 o´clock Tel-Aviv-Time, our dear friend Nir Katz became a victim of a mean attac from a gunman on a gay-center in Tel Aviv.
He was 26 years old.
We are shocked and in tears.
But what is even more important to me (Birgit) is the effects, that this event had on me. To mention the two most important:
I found out, that every minute I spend with my friends is precious and irreplacable.
As second:
I can´t and won´t just take this situation as is is.
Two humans were killed in this attac. One of them was my friend. That´s making it personal.
I´m afraid, I´ve always had a little weakness for minorities:
A homosexual jew, who juggles...
But for me it is not important, how someone decides to live his life, but what human being he is. This is the reason for me, that I want to do something about it. And I would be happy to find help, assistance and support amongst my friends.
To show all our friends in Isreal, how much we are connected to eachother and thereby to set up a sign of solidarity, this is my declared aim.
